This past weekend "The Wives Club" (that is what Eric refers to as the girls out here with their husbands to which I do almost everything with) took an adventurous trip to the Petit Jean State park just northwest of Little Rock. We decided to go on the "strenuous" hike to Ceder Falls. On the hike up to the falls we started to get a nice smell of something rotten...... sure enough we looked into the river that ran along the trail and look what we found...
If you can't tell, that is some kind of HUGE fish! Eww. So anyway.... then we continued on our hike to the waterfall and it was so much bigger than I thought it would be, just shy of 100 feet. It was nice to get out and go on this hike, it was a beautiful day and it helped the long Saturday (where our husbands work 9-9) go by.
I tripped over a rock taking this picture.... I bet you wish I had THAT picture.

OOPS.....watch out for that silly rock in front of you! How fun for you and all of the other gals to find fun things to do together. Beautiful scenery!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteSweet stuff. You know what. Texas has some pretty fun hiking trails too....hint hint hint. I bet if we looked hard enough we could muster up a dead fish too.
