The trip started out by leaving at 9PM on a dark, snowy night.
I was very frightened but tried not to show it.We arrived safetly to St. George around 12:30AM where we would stay at the Dayton's condo, thanks Daytons!! BUT FIRST we had to stop at Wal-mart to get supplies, cereal, milk, eggs and "drinks" (sparkling cider). AND THEN we had to stop at a park to play. Now at this point of the night I get grumpy because I am not a night person but then I saw the park we were going to play at and I was so excited, it was way cooler than any park I had when I was little. It had all these wirly twirly spinning rides, my favorite was the one that two people get in and then use their bodyweight to spin themselves around and then when you jump out you wanna throw up, so fun! Here is an action shot of racheal and I while spinning.
Ha ha funny.The gang
leaving our
park.

YEARS EVE) we decided to stay up and do productive things like eat popcorn, dance and take funny pictures.
After arriving at the Hilton (Vacations Club, thanks Cecil and Yvonne!) we dressed up for dinner at the Cheesecake factory where I was so happy to see RED VELVET cheesecake! Two great things combined together for my pleasure.

We were in a great spot on the strip, near Treasure Island and The Venitian, we could see all the fireworks from all the surrounding hotels, so awesome! Last year the whole strip skipped out on the fireworks so that is a big reason why this year was better.
The following day as we were leaving we decided to eat at The Diner (Denny's) then we all wanted to throw up but the trip wasn't over yet. We still had to take a picture by the "Welcome to Vegas" sign. It took us FOREVER to get there (strip traffic) and then the line to take a picture was long cause there was a REAL wedding going on underneath the sign. Who does that? So we just took a picture at the side of it, called it good and headed out.

We were on our way to AZ.
We took a wrong turn and it was already 4PM! We decided it wasn't going to be worth spending one day (Sunday) there and having to leave Monday to be home for work in time so we're going to take a trip down there ASAP!

Looks like a fun new years! You look way pretty new years night.
