Bestest Cousins

A much needed trip away from the Utah was taken by yours truly this past week.

I went to visit my "other half," and when I say "other half" I'm really just referring to all the "best friend" necklaces we had growing up. Shayla Rae always had the other half of my best friend necklace. Too bad we never could find a set that said "Best Cousins" but we really are best friends too!

Well one day when we were both married Shayla's hubby Scott decided that Plano, Texas (Dallas) was cooler than Provo, Utah so they moved away and bought a house and had the most ADORABLE baby in the WORLD.

Then my cousin Camilla and her hubby Cameron decided that Texas was cooler as well, at least for the summer, so they packed up and moved to Houston.
Since Cameron had to leave sooner than Camilla, I tagged along with Milly. We drove the 23 hours to Plano in 2 days, spending the night in Albuquerque. It wasn't too bad of a drive either, we made it fun and I was happy to hang with Camilla before she moved.
We arrived safely in Texas and stayed with Shayla, Scott and Baby Jones for couple days together.Then Milla left and drove the 3 hours to Houston and I stayed a couple more days and even had a whole day to hang out with Jones while Shay and Scott worked.

We went to the park.
Basically, I loved this little trip I took. Thanks Shayla for being such a good mommy and taking care of me! So excited to see her again in June for Ben Ben's wedding.
