For Grimas

Christmas was with the HANSEN family this year and it consisted of
Christmas Eve:
-Ugly sweater modeling contest
-Polar express and BELIEVE presentation given by Dad Hans, he gave a bell to Mom and had her ring the bell, everyone heard the bell and the kids got to try ringing the bell and they loved it.

-New PJ's for the kiddos

-Acting/reading out the Nativity Scene

Christmas Day:
Erin and Jonathan and their little girl Aubrey (3) stayed with us at Mom and Dad's, it was fun to have Aubrey there cause SANTA came. We woke up at 7:30am to SANTA (Dad) ringing his jingle bells and saying HO HO HO! Aubs was soooo excited she started yelling Santa was here!! She came to our room and asked if we heard and then we went to open presents. We all got lots of great things and I feel so blessed, not only being able to have a great Christmas but to be surrounded by family. I love it, but we really missed those who couldn't make it. :( It was weird not being with the my family but I am just so grateful I have such awesome in-laws that make me feel like I have been a part of the family forever.
-One of the gifts Eric gave me was $$ for me to shop with in Vegas this week.... the present was wrapped in a briefcase and said "To: Chelsea, From: The Mafia" in side was the CASH in bundles and this note, (sorry it's tilted)
I LOVE my new 2010 calender Eric made for me!!

Eric also got some fun things, he had been wanting a DVD player for the car (cause he is an ADD 7 year old) for a while now and was surprised with one this year, which I know I'll enjoy too, especially on our trip to Vegas and Arizona this week.
Santa (me) gave Eric (and me) a 2009 tree ornament! Cute.....

-Then we had breakfast with the whole fam and opened up sibling presents (Mike and Em gave us a cocoa machine since I lost mine and a gorgeous decoration, THANKS GUYS!)
-After breakfast we napped and ate and ate some more and then we played games and went and saw Sherlock Holmes (which we both thought was not as good as the previews made it look).

SO grateful for family and this time of year to get to celebrate the most awesome gift any of us could ever ask for!
