Next time we're flying. The drive was CRAP. My knuckles were white and I was pretty much in tears at this point.

This pic was taken while driving through the Donner Pass in the Sierra Nevada mountains. But the surprise for Shenelle was great. No greater surprise than your sisters waiting outside your classroom (Shenelle is a teacher at an all girls private school in Palo Alto, CA).
We went running together, ate good food, went shopping and sat around while enjoying the rain. Saturday we went into the city to visit the Haight and Ashbury district & play on the rainy beach.

While in the bay area we also spent some time visiting Dad Hansen's office and stayed the night with Jake and Emma. 
The nephews loved hanging out with Uncle Eric.
Oh and then we took the 15 hour ride home through Vegas 'cause the Donner Pass was closed. Go figure.
