March Confusion & Madness

Jimmer and Fredette? They're (he's?) the same person? I JUST discovered this. Why is it that last year I only remember people talking smack about BYU basketball and "Fredette?" Now of course this year all I hear is Jimmer this and "Jimmersion" that, turning his name into some blessed pronoun sent from heaven to bless BYU and the N-SEE-DOUBLE-AYE. Why was his name Fredette last year when people seemed to hate him and Jimmer this year when people worship him?

I was so confused so just last week I had to ask Eric if Jimmer and Fredette were the same person. He is in fact Jimmer Fredette and for some reason I can't stand him. I obviously don't go out of my way to watch basketball and although Eric will, we don't have TV so he has to rely on a friend or his parent's house for that entertainment. So unless there is a legitimate game-viewing party to attend I consider homework, cleaning and catching up on Glee more important. Maybe if I started watching the games I would turn true blue and come up with my own catchy phrases about the Jimmer Fredette. I doubt it. I refuse to call him Jimmer. I also refuse to put a picture of Jimmer Fredette on my (our) blog. Little Justin Bieber will do for now.
