The second wedding this summer took place at the Salt Lake City temple and was for our close friends Jack and Racheal. It was an amazing sealing, not just because of the fact that it was the last of our friends to be married, or that this couple is like family to us, or that we were all there as friends to watch them be sealed but mostly because President Uchtdorf was their sealer (they had the hook ups) and he said some amazing things (of course). He read a list of things married couples should do for each other. One that stuck out to me most was (think German accent) "be willing to admit you're wrong, even when you're not." (insert laughter) He expounded to say how important it is to avoid letting pride get in the way of a peaceful marriage. So much easier said than done, but I'm really working on it. :)
After their sealing we went to the luncheon at the Joseph Smith Memorial building and then danced our hearts out at their reception in Thanksgiving Point.
