It's about time!!

I basically check these two artists web pages all the time to see if they have released there new albums yet and last month I checked both of them and uh... nothing, but then just today I checked and BOTH have scheduled dates in August for the releasing of their much anticipated (by me at least) ALBUMS! Yay, this gives me hope for some reason cause I've been so sad lately. Thanks Mindy and Imogen!

CHECK 'EM OUT!

So with Imogen Heap I had been growing very impatient with her because a couple years ago (actually in 2006) I saw her in concert and she was all like " blah blah blah I am going to be working on my new album that is scheduled to be released sometime next year blah blah BLAH" so 2007 came and went and 2008.... and no NEW album... but FINALLY it's here and I could be more excited! She is an amazing artist, who actually has made some of her own instruments. Talk about crafty :) Her music genre is called "electronic pop/rock" it's pretty unique. If you aren't familiar with her I'm sure you have heard her somewhere (The O.C., The Holiday, Chronicles of Narnia, etc. ) I've seen her in concert a couple times and still say she is one of my favorites and I really hope she comes again SOON!




So here's Mindy Smith and if you lived in Ventana Student Housing Apt. 301 you lived your life to her first two albums. She is the type of "country" that I really like. She is more of the "easy listening" genre but for some reason that genre title make me feel weird, like I'm old or something. Anyway I just love this artist, and if you were at my reception and saw the video played there her song "Amazing" was featured :) I know it sounds kinda lame but listening to her music helped comfort me in a rough patch of my life. Never seen her live but would LOVE to, even though my bro-in-law says he didn't like her too much live. Whatev.
